Scholarship Overview

Each year, Intel PDC offers scholarships aimed at fostering research and development skills among promising students from educational institutions across Malaysia.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Intel Penang Design Center Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a Malaysian citizen.
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student at a local university, pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • not be the recipient of any more scholarships from Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA), private groups, or companies.

Additionally, candidates must meet at least one of the following academic criteria:

  • Obtain a grade of A in a minimum of three STPM topics.
  • Score A1 in Mathematics and all Science subjects in SPM.
  • Achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in a Matriculation program.
  • For undergraduates, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.

Note: Applicants are required to have a Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional Malaysia (PTPTN) loan.
